Day Trip Pricing

We are proud to have frozen our Day Visit pricing for the past two years, despite rising operational costs.

From 26/27 school year, we will be introducing a revised seasonal pricing structure for Day Visits. This will help us continue offering affordable visits throughout the year.

We know schools continue to face financial pressures and we remain committed to providing exceptional educational value and memorable experiences for every child who visits Ufton. If your school is struggling, please speak to us.

Funding for Schools and Community Groups

We believe every child should have the opportunity to benefit from enriching experiential learning, regardless of their circumstances. Subsidies ranging from 25% to 100% may be awarded at Ufton’s discretion, subject to available funding and qualifying criteria. For schools, eligibility is based on at least 30% of pupils receiving Free School Meals (FSM). Community and voluntary organisations may qualify where they work directly with children who face disadvantage.

Who Qualifies and How it Works
  • All subsidies are awarded at Ufton’s discretion, subject to qualifying criteria and available funding.

  • Subsidies range from 25% to 100% of the full programme price.

  • Schools must have at least 30% of pupils eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) at the time of booking.

  • Qualifying schools will normally receive a 50% subsidy, although up to 100% may be awarded in exceptional circumstances.

  • Community and voluntary organisations working directly with children who face disadvantage may receive a subsidy of up to 100%.

  • Subsidies apply to new bookings for Ufton’s History and Outdoor programmes.

  • The full value of the subsidy must be passed on to participating families or communities through a corresponding reduction in the amount they are charged.

  • Subsidies are not guaranteed. Their availability and value may change or be withdrawn at any time, including where funding is no longer available.

To find out more about how you can benefit from this funding, please email us at enquiries@ufton.org.uk

Thank you so much for your swift responses and awarding us the FSM % subsidy – this really does make the difference for us being able to run a residential trip at all.
