Adult Volunteer Waiver

I acknowledge and agree to the following terms while participating in a volunteer project organised by Ufton Court Educational Trust:

1. Volunteer Activities: I understand my participation may involve tasks such as handling tools, equipment, cleaning agents, paint, and other materials related to construction, landscaping, and cleaning activities.

2. Acknowledgement of Risks: I am aware that volunteering may involve risks, including personal injury, accidents, and property damage, and I accept responsibility for my participation.

3. Health and Safety: I confirm I am physically and mentally fit to volunteer and will follow all safety instructions and protocols provided by Ufton Court Educational Trust.

4. Release of Liability: I release and hold harmless Ufton Court Educational Trust, its trustees, staff, agents, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my participation, including those due to negligence.

5. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify Ufton Court Educational Trust against any losses, damages, or expenses, including legal costs, resulting from my actions during the project.

6. Confidentiality: I will maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information I may access during my volunteering.

7. Emergency Medical Treatment: In an emergency, I authorise Ufton Court Educational Trust to arrange medical treatment on my behalf, understanding that I am responsible for any associated costs.
